— and if you haven’t, you must remedy this straightaway, because it is the best and most hilarious cop movie that celebrates cheesy cop movies ever, in the same way that Shaun of the Dead is the best zombie movie — anyway, if you haven’t, you won’t understand why the fact that as we were walking back to the car afterwards, we saw this:
and weren’t sure at first what we were seeing, but then we got closer up and realized yes, it really was
a mounted police officer — well, if you haven’t seen it, you won’t know why we were all trying desperately not to crack up, and Rich was trying so hard that he inadvertently punched himself in the mouth.
Anyway, you should see it.
And, entirely unrelated but just because I haven’t posted it yet, here’s a picture of one of the captions from the Vivienne Westwood exhibit. I love this because it includes the phrase, referring to the shop that Westwood ran in the seventies, “SEX was intimidating.”
