What surprising thing did you learn about yourself in 2006?

I’ll go first.

This is kind of sick: I learned that given a context in which to express it, I have a much stronger policy wonk streak than I previously suspected.

    I am much better at handling crises than I previously thought I was capable (see: losing my passport in London and my car breaking down on the side of I-75 at 3 in the morning in Nowheresville, OH. Within two weeks of eachother).

    Not that I wouldn’t turn down a really fabulous one, but…I’m not dead yet, and it’s been almost half a year!

    I learned that everything from my back pain to my psychological issues can be traced to problems with my hamstrings.
