A Clue game with, I think, the 1950 box & board design.
But of course I was compelled to take pictures…
The mood of the artwork reminds me of the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple films, which were pretty formative for me. I saw them all in lecture halls at the U of Michigan when I was growing up. The student film society used to hold screenings of classic movies in various campus buildings. (Ann Arbor folks — does that still happen?)

Next time you find an old board game at an estate sale – CALL ME! If you don’t want it, there’s a good chance I would.
Looks like a great set!

The edition I grew up with had those exact artifacts, but not those illustrations. My box had photographs of actors posing as the different suspects. It all looked very sexy and grown up.
