    My friend and I seem to be the only ones who ever check out our library’s copy of Empress of the World, and we check it out so regularly that we leave each other notes in it. . . (not on pink index cards though)

    Thats pretty cool. I think I was the first one to check out the copy of Empress in my library the pages were still like crispy and unbent.This is proabaly due to the narrow-minded homophobic town that I live in. Anyways I just happened to be browsing and found it one day, its one of my favorites. I finally ordered it off of Barnes and Noble.Com and just got it today.
