Call me obsessed

and I will totally cop to it. Just finished watching season three of The Wire and, just as I often do with books that have absolutely blown me away, I’m going to start over and watch it all again.

But even if you’re not similarly obsessed, this interview with Ed Burns, one of the show’s creators, is worth reading. It’s about education, in its various forms.

I caught most of the first season when it was on, and was impressed, as I usually am by HBO series; The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, etc.

dude, we can totally do that anyway. i will watch again. and try to restrain myself from, like, saying dialogue along with the actors, or making up rocky horror-style responses.

it only gets better. i think you’d especially like season three, which focuses on politics and efforts towards reform. but season two is also fantastic. so.
