In the previous incarnation of my blog, I wrote about The Annoying Woman At My Gym Who Gives Liberals A Bad Name. Is there a term like dittohead, that one could apply to blind followers of Michael Moore? Anyway, you can no doubt recognize the type. So at my gym, there’s been a slight fee increase, and Annoying Woman was outraged. She could understand, she said, if they were paying for new equipment, but she didn’t see any improvements — she might have to go to another gym to work out!
Ex-Marine Guy — with whom she frequently attempts to debate, much to his discomfort — overheard this exchange and later said to one of the gym’s staff: “I’m sorry, but she’s the last person who should be worried about you guys getting new equipment. I’ve been coming here for four years and I haven’t seen her work out once.”
And indeed, her pattern is to show up, harangue whomever’s within earshot for twenty minutes or so, and leave.

October 20, 2005 at 6:24 ami know what you mean, but it’s a lot easier to manage: no comment spam (so far), and i’m hearing from people who never commented on the old site, i think b/c it’s now inside lj…
i agree that the whole iframe thing is less than ideal, and i definitely want to figure out how to make the links from the linkslist open in new windows. aside from that, though, i’m pretty happy with the new setup.
